ABFE 2015: Napa Valley

The Association of Black Foundation Executives (ABFE) is a membership-based philanthropic organization that advocates for responsive and transformative investments in Black Communities. Founded in 1971 as an all volunteer organization, it has been credited with many of philanthropy’s early gains in diversity. Today it is a fully-staffed influential network that advocates on behalf of black communities and provides professional development for those in the field of philanthropy.

The video includes highlights from Empower Philanthropy!, ABFE’s 2015 Annual Conference in Napa Valley. Excerpts from the James Joseph Lecture Series and Award Ceremony, key speakers, panel sessions, exhibit pieces from the Kinsey Collection and more are included.
